Don't Get Steered

​Don't get steered by your insurance company. Your insurance company may try to steer you to one of their "preferred" body shops. Remember, steering is illegal. The reason they want you to go to one of their "preferred" body shops is because they get a deep discount on parts and labor. Here are some things your insurance company may tell you to try and deceive you.​​​​

"We won't warranty the repair if you go to a body shop that is not on our list."​

Memphis Auto Body Collision gives a written lifetime warranty on all of the work that we have performed.

"You will have to pay more if you go to the shop of your choice."​

We work directly off of the insurance companies estimate, the only payment a customer may be responsible for is a betterment and/or their deductible (if applicable).​

"If you go to one of our shops, we can pay them directly and you will get your vehicle back faster."

It is your money, the insurance check should come directly to you. You should have complete control of the repair. Do not pay any shop until you are 100% satisfied with the work that has been done.
